Originally from the UK before migrating to Northern California and becoming a US Citizen, Mike voiced and codeveloped Synthesizers for Yamaha at Yamaha R&D in London. Following this he worked on a handful of movies with Bond composer David Arnold at Air Lyndhurst Studios including movie sound-design and synthesizer textures for Stargate.

Arriving in California Mike joined E.mu Systems working on their Morpheus Z-Plane Synthesizer and advanced Emulator 4 Samplers. Mike cofounded LAVA Live Audio Visual Animation startup with Creative Labs… an early foray into 3D machine/music visuals. Following this Mike went on to lead the product and marketing team at Universal Audio for the UAD-1 & UAD-2 DAW plugin series.

Today this sonic journey has landed in M3tanoia’s Ethereal Melodic Techno influenced by the European EDM movement of the Italians (Afterlife/Tale Of Us) and the German troika of innovators Bodzin, Böhmer and Brejcha.

Most recently, Mike has also been directing and producing Music Videos for M3tanoia and global EDM & Electronica artists embracing the Generative AI revolution with a portfolio of Generative art & Music Videos.
